With you on that. A big surprise for me as I thought the trailers looked way too generic for a Star Trek film.
Only downside was too much shakey-cam during "action" scenes, and Simon Pegg's dreadful Scottish accent. It was alright when he remembered to do it, but he kept forgetting. They should have just let him keep his own accent.
I'm with you on Simon Pegg, but I really thought the action scenes had enough adrenaline to them that I - for once - didn't really much notice or mind the shaky cam
