It seems like I've been to the movies every Saturday this summer except for when I was at the World Cup (and even then my brother and I caught Sofia's "Marie Antoinette" while in Amsterdam.)
Today, however, there are more important matters to tend to. It is, in fact, my favorite day of the year, when another college football season begins in Athens, Georgia.
Even with lingering questions at quarterback, my Dawgs should have few problems with 1-AA cupcake Western Kentucky, even if they play a sloppy game. I'll be in my end zone perch to take it all in with my good friend Rodney Manley.
This being a holiday weekend, however, I do still plan to take in two movies this weekend, "Little Miss Sunshine" Sunday and "Invincible" Monday (notice, NOT THE WICKER MAN!) Please feel free to check back for reviews then. Peace out.

I can't wait to hear your review of Little Miss Sunshine! I will have to wait til it's on my movie channels, but til then, I will live vicariously through your reviews *G*
Thanks, Mellow ... I would go see it today if I weren't football season, but definitely check back tomorrow afternoon and I should have something about it by then
damn you went to the world cup!!!!!
and you watched Marie Antoinette!!!
I have to start visiting you more often, I mean every day!!
Thanx for your visit!
oh, and by the way "Pan's Labyrinth" is not directed by Benicio Del Toro, his name is Guillermo Del Toro. Funny ha?
The film made the final list of movies that could represent Mexico at the Oscars. The film is a co-production between Mexico/Spain. But since the director, writer, and 3/4 of the producers are Mexican. Only Mexico can submitted.
Hey man, I'm linking, if you don't mind. We reviewers must stick together. Like glue. Or paste. Or some other sticky substance that hardens when dry.
Good luck to your Dawgs. The older I get the more I miss the 1st Sat of college football.
Teehee.
Ah .. thanks for the correction, carlinhos ... I often type these things very early in the morning, so any typos detected are certainly real but not deliberate!
Fortunately, Georgia fared better against a 1-AA pastry than Colorado did...
Glad your Dogs got it done. Guess maybe that Stafford kid has a future, after all. Hope you enjoy LMS as much as I did.
Hey there Ryan ... Since it's football season, I guess Little Miss Sunshine would have to be my lock of the week .. if it somehow sucks, I'm just gonna be astounded
I'v been contemplating watching Little Miss Sunshine, so I want to hear your views as well.
I also love movies...although I may not have as vast a knowledge as you. Yesterday I was a bum and watched Romeo + Juliet and Don Juan DeMarco. Cause I love those movies!
Welcome, Ashley .. if spending the day watching movies makes you a bum, than I'm definitely a derelict!
Reel,
Thanks for the comment on "Idiocracy." You'll enjoy "Little Miss Sunshine." I've seen it twice (so far -- the last viewing immediately after "Idiocrcay") and I can easily say it's the best comedy I've seen in a few years.
BTW, why couldn't GT pull it out against ND? I wanted to see a big upset yesterday.
Poke
I stayed up later than usual to watch the end of that one, Poke, and I really though Tech would pull it out ... in the end, their defense just gave all they had, and it was almost enough
