I remember it being a lot like "Moon," which is easily one of my favorite flicks of this year so farReel Fanatichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09727636643227938924noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17556334.post-83469583375244319732009-06-29T12:00:47.192-04:002009-06-29T12:00:47.192-04:00Wow that is an utter supprise. In fact I think I am going to pull out the iPod and give it a listen myself.
I think that she managed to take each song she staged in that film and make its meaning both familiar and completely unexpected.
And she is the one doing Spidy? How interesting.
On a completely unrelated note I watched both Silent Running and THX 1138 last night. THX holds up pretty well over the years and there is a lot of foreshadowing of Lucas general Star wars feel. SR is technically ahead of it's time but there are some rather hippy dippy moments that make me cringe and I never really bought the other peoples complete acceptance of destroying the forests. It was like Cool we nuke the last trees in the universe and then we can go home.Erichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10604955846191230905noreply@blogger.com
